Yahhhhh...I've never been too good at bios.

Whenever i do a play and they are like "we need a bio for the program" i kinda bullshit random stuff about me. Instead of writing who I am, I'll put some cheesy inside joke, some funny little cliche, something absurd that means nothing in the grand scheme of life. But really, after growing up in the burbs of Portland Oregon, I'm a student at Macalester College in Saint Paul, Minnesota. I had a lot of shit in here about what I was interested in, and what I liked, but it felt really high schooly to keep all that stuff here. Long story short, this Livejournal chronicled my existance as a high school student, and now that I'm in college I don't know how much I'll still use it to rant and rave. I'm open to most things. I photograph. I think. I question. I ponder. I do my best to be "the good guy," and I usually am. I act. I catalyze. I kick a soccer ball around. I waste time on the internet. I procrastinate. so yah. thats me, in a nutshell.






The biggest thing i've learned from writing in journals is that concept of fate. Every day i wake up. The dreary day is blank like a canvas. At times you wont be able to see the sun through the dreary November-in-Portland clouds. and yet, every day will take its form. You may think you know whats about to happen, like oh i'll have a french test today, but in reality anything can happen in the small span of 24 hours. maybe its something big; you found out your secret crush likes you. maybe its something small; A kid in your PE class has an incredible name like Varooooooom. Every day you wake up, you have no idea whats going to happen. The day will unfold, you will revel in it, and then go back to sleep, hoping to be lucky enough to experience the chutzpah again.

So...my life keeps changing. One of the things ive learned. And i guess i keep these journals just to try and keep up.
